MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Busy Bee Tools, a national retailer of woodworking machinery, supplies and accessories with 10 stores across Canada, will exhibit at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

Busy Bee Tools plans to display several machines from the Craftex line, which includes cabinet table saws, drum sanders and dust collectors.

The following machines are among those that will be exhibited at Busy Bee Tools’ WMS booth #2735.

The Craftex CX 504 is a 26-in. drum sander with a 3-hp motor that turns two 6-in. drums at a speed of 1,600 rpm. The sander can handle workpieces up to 26 in. wide and 12 in. thick. A heavy-duty conveyor belt feed the workpiece from 3 to 20 surface per minute. The two drums allow coarse and fine sanding in one pass. A pair of 4-in. dust ports located on the top of the machine facilitate dust removal. Sand paper replacement on CX504 is made easier by two spring clips that hold the sand paper around the drum.

The Craftex CX 2065HP is a 12-in.table saw with riving knife.  It is equipped with a 5-hp motor, precision ground cast iron table, heavy-duty cabinet with enclosed base and a cam lever fence to facilitate rip cuts. Other features on the CX2065HP noted by Busy Bee Tools include a “user-friendly” blade guard, triple V-belt drive, large magnetic switch, 4-in. dust port and safety push stick.

The Craftex CX412 is a two-stage cyclone dust collector. It is equipped with a 2-hp motor and 14.5-in. impeller. The unit also features a 1-micron canister filter with manual crank handle to ease clean, a transparent bottom bag, 28-gallon steel collection drum with wheel castors so that it can be moved around a workshop.
