Bürkle reports sales up 30%
STUTTGART, GERMANY -- Robert Bürkle, a manufacturer of laminating and finishing equipment for wood, plus technology for other industries, reported that its first half sales for the year were running approximately 30 percent of the same period last year.

The company said it had booked orders totaling $42 million Euros ($54.5 million) by June 30. This order value is also higher than in the first two quarters of "the booming years 2007 and 2008."

"Consequently, the planned sales target of more than 85 million Euros ($110.3 million) for 2010 is realistic to achieve,“ said Bürkle Chief Hans-Joachim Bender.
