Building materials distributor expands operations to Southern California

GALT, Calif. — BMD, Inc., a distributor in the building materials industry, has expanded its engineered wood product (EWP) distribution operations in Southern California. This strategic expansion will provide robust solutions to lumber yards serving both single- and multi-family builders and framers across the region.

The Riverside EWP yard will carry PWT I-joists, laminated and treated veneer lumber, stock and custom glulam beams, and laminated strand lumber. The products will be delivered to dealers on BMD's fleet of company-owned trucks, increasing trucks and drivers to increase scheduled delivery frequency throughout the region.
