CHARLOTTE, NC -- Biesse America, a manufacturer of woodworking machinery, announced plans on July 30 for “BIESSEiNSIDE,” an international event to be held Oct. 10-13, at the headquarters of its parent company Biesse Group S.p.A. in Pesaro, Italy. The four-day event will feature technical workshops and guided tours around Biesse’s  970,000-square-foot Pesaro production facility. Biesse will provide transportation and lodging for North American clients traveling to Italy for the event.

Highlights of the event will include a presentation by the IKEA Group and a discussion on a 2007 study on solid wood window and door applications in the Italian market led by Consorzio LegnoLegno, a European consortium of more than 600 wood and furniture sector businesses. In addition, Biesse plans to unveil a new 32,000-square-foot showroom, where 100 live demonstrations will be held on a variety of wood processing machines.
