CHARLOTTE, NC — Biesse and Bacci, manufacturers of machinery and systems for the woodworking industry, on Mar. 27 announced that they have signed an exclusive distribution agreement. The partnership establishes Biesse America and Canada as the sole distributor of Bacci machinery in the United States and Canada, excluding the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

“Bacci’s strong reputation and complementary products and applications are logical fits with Biesse’s Solid Wood program,” said Federico Broccoli, CEO of Biesse and Intermac in the United States and Canada, “The ability to offer customers Bacci technology allows for greater expansion into the solid wood markets and will also create new opportunities in industries such as traditional furniture, chairs, doors, aerospace, automotive and plastics.”

Biesse will supply all existing Bacci customers with trained technicians, phone support and parts. Additionally, the Biesse Service Team’s Help Desk Software is currently being upgraded to accommodate the Bacci machine lines.
