FREMONT, Ne. - Legacy Post & Beam, a maker of kits for barns, houses, pavilions, sheds, and other structures, decided to move into a brand new 13,000-square-foot facility after experiencing big growth.

“As our reputation for excellence has spread and demand for post and beam construction has risen, we have been fortunate to experience significant growth,” manager Brian Wiese said in a released statement. “Our new office and manufacturing space offers a more efficient layout for post and beam construction. We also have ample room for continued growth, which was important to us as we poised ourselves for the future.”

Currently under construction, the new facility offers a covered wood storage space that will allow for increased inventory - ensuring a faster production time says the company. It will also better cater to walk-in material sales.

Legacy will expand its product offering - adding specialty items including mantels, live-edge beams, and custom furniture. It will add 4 employees, bringing its total staff number to 12.

“The move emphasizes our commitment to both our customers and our employees. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality post and beam kits on the market. The move to Fremont will provide synergies in adding talented staff to our team, as well as within our supply chain to help us deliver the level of satisfaction our customers have come to expect,” he said in a released statement.

The job openings will be for skilled carpenters and CAD professionals.
