Bürkle NA, now 25, plans to open East Coast technology center
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Burkle North America will open a new East Coast Technology Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Helfried Weinzerl, President and CEO of the North America subsidiary of Burkle GmbH, made the announcement in conjunction with the North American operation's 25th anniversary.

The new facility is expected to be available sometime in mid-2017 with equipment to be added over time. Burkle will officially dedicate the new facility with a grand opening scheduled for later in the year.

Now celebrating 25 years in business, Burkle North America says it enters 2017 with a record backlog of orders stretching across all of its main business units; Woodworking, Solar & Glass, Printed Circuit Board, Plastic Card and Sign & Graphics Coating.

“The last six months were a record order period for us leaving us with a backlog of machine sales into 2017 and beyond," said Weinzerl. “Sales were buoyed by large orders for solar module manufacturing equipment, woodworking machinery and Schmoll Drilling machine sales in the electronics side of our business.”

North American Headquarters continue to operate from the Burkle office in Cypress, California. www.burkleamerica.com
