 Arsonists torch wood door factory as diversion

PAYETTE, ID -- Western Door Core's warehouse was allegedly set on fire May 27 to create a diversion by two men looking to steal guns from a nearby pawn shop, billed as the "world's biggest."

The warehouse, housing wood inventory for making doors and windows, was destroyed in the blaze.

Police arrested David Vonbargen, 48, and Donovan Bolen, 21, who admitted torching the warehouse and a truck. Police recovered 15 stolen rifles, plus Molotov cocktails from the pair, according to kivtv.  A juvenile female was also taken into custody.

Vonbargen was charged arson in the third degree, arson in the second degree and burglary. Bolen was charged with aiding and abetting arson in the third degree, aiding and abetting arson in the second degree and burglary. .
