The Association of Retail Environments elected Bob Riley of DSA/Phototech of Carson, CA, as its new president, during the A.R.E.'s annual convention last month in Rancho Mirage, CA. DSA/Phototech is a leading supplier of lightboxes, poster frames and other graphic display systems for the retail, advertising, and trade exhibit industries
Riley succeeds Robert Reeve Frackelton of Reeve Store Equipment Co. of Pico Rivera, CA, who will continue to serve on the A.R.E. Board of Directors as immediate past president.
Alan Harvill of EMI Industries of Tampa, FL, was elected vice president, and Steven Neumeyer of Southern Imperial of Rockford, IL, was elected treasurer.
In addition to the officers, A.R.E. elected the following five members to the board of directors:
- Michael Childs, High Country Millwork, Longmont, CO;
- Richard Ernest, Crown Metal Manufacturing Co., Elmhurst, IL;
- Simon Ong, Kingsmen Projects Pte. Ltd., Singapore;
- Bob Rosesan, TJ Hale Co., Menomonee Falls, WI; and
- Dan Schmidt, The Combination Door Co., Fond Du Lac, WI.
A.R.E. is a Hollywood, FL trade group for the retail environments industry. Its more than 800 member companies include many businesses from the woodworking industries, including store fixture suppliers, retail design firms, suppliers of visual merchandising products, and suppliers of materials and equipment for the retail environments industry.
