From harvesting lumber to manufacturing furniture, Palettes by Winesburg controls its entire supply chain.

PAINT TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Amish furniture maker Palettes by Winesburg will construct an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Paint Township, Ohio.

The expansion will be completed in three phases and will result in the creation of 50 new full-time jobs.

Winesburg said it will also invest in new machinery and equipment to meet rising demand.

Ohio Development Services Agency will provide a six-year Job Creation Tax Credit valued at $100,000 for the project. JobsOhio and Ohio SE will give $50,000 to support equipment and machinery costs.

“Winesburg Chair is a great example of the growth many businesses in our region are experiencing and we are proud to partner with the company,” said Mike Jacoby, President of OhioSE. “The Coblentz family has done a remarkable job in growing Winesburg Chair through a dedication to quality and a clear vision to produce beautifully crafted furniture.”

Winesburg is a vertically integrated, family-owned, third-generation Amish furniture maker. The company harvests cherry, oak, maple, and walnut from Ohio forests before processing at its sawmill. Lumber is then checked at four dry kilns.

The company shares its manufacturing process on its website: https://www.palettesbywinesburg.com/about-us/
