$35k grant helps lumber company expand trucking division

PIKETON, Ohio - Ohio-based lumber company Brew Brothers Lumber will expand its trucking division, which operates regionally and specializes in the transportation of wood products, steel, insulation, and other manufactured items.
 
Thanks to the help of a $35,000 JobsOhio Economic Development Grant, the trucking division will purchase an building in Piketon, Ohio and expand its trucking fleet, allowing for a "dramatic" expand to its operation. The company says it has seen significant recent growth.
 
“We are excited to expand and bring new jobs to Pike County,” said Joey Brewster, Owner of Brew Brothers Trucking. “We appreciated working with OhioSE, JobsOhio and Pike County.”
 
“The Pike County Community and Economic Development Office along with the Pike County Commissioners support the Brew Brothers Trucking project and appreciate all of the support from JobsOhio and OhioSE,” said Gary Arnett, Development Director of the Pike County Office of Community and Economic Development.
 
Brew Brothers Trucking and Brew Brothers Lumber are technically two separate companies operating under the same ownership.
