PARKERSBURG, W.Va. – Woodcraft customers may now choose from a greatly expanded line of woodworking plans, thanks to the company’s recent acquisition of WoodcraftPlans.com (http://woodcraftplans.com) . This acquisition added 1,200 plans to Woodcraft’s already extensive plan offering.
“This acquisition gives us a broader offering with more variety to better serve the needs of our customers at all skill levels,” Woodcraft President Jeff Forbes explained.
Customers will soon be able to access the plans at Woodcraft retail locations, www.woodcraftplans.com and www.woodcraft.com. Indoor and outdoor furniture, cabinets, chests, holiday projects, nursery furniture, intarsia, toys, doll furniture, and structures are only a few of the topics covered in these plans. Each plan comes with full-sized patterns for curved and irregular pieces, a materials list, exploded view diagrams, and measured drawings. Plan purchasers also gain access to Woodcraft’s knowledgeable customer support staff through a toll-free phone number.
Woodcraft already owns one plan company, established in 2008, that produces the Classic Project and Classic Shop Plans – all based on projects from the pages of Woodcraft Magazine. Thirty-four Classic plans are currently available, and 12 new plans are added each year.
“We see WoodcraftPlans.com as a complementary addition to our Classic plans. Woodcraft will continue to add new plan offerings in the near future to provide our customers with some exciting project plan options,” Forbes said.
