Ashland, AL--Wellborn Cabinet, Inc., has partnered with Home & Garden Television (HGTV) as a sponsor of the 2010 HGTV Dream Home. The home is located in the land of enchantment, Sandia Park, New Mexico, and is a modern pueblo home with a southwest twist. As the exclusive cabinet sponsor, Wellborn Cabinet provided its Estate Custom Collection for the kitchen, pantry, laundry, master bath, Jack and Jill bath, office bath, Casita bath and recycle center.
Wellborn’s Shaker style inset Hanover Cherry with a one piece drawer front gives the kitchen that warm contemporary feel with a nod to mission styling. This styling includes clean lines with elements, such as floating shelves, and the design is structured with some asymmetrical elements to create harmony.
The perimeter of the kitchen features our Caramel Java finish while the island is Hanover Maple Midnight. The island also includes a seating area and is open to the great room making this entertainment central for the home. Functionality in the kitchen is key, too. An Oven, Microwave and Warming Drawer Stack provide options along with the cooktop that provides the choice of gas, induction and steamer elements.
The spacious pantry just off the kitchen allows for overflow storage in Barcelona Oak featuring horizontal grain patterns and a warm Medium finish. Even more storage is available in the recycle center also adjacent to the kitchen. Wellborn’s Distinctive Closets Program provides ample space for collecting recyclables with double stacked 4-bin recycle pullouts and wire pullout baskets.
All of the bathrooms in the home feature clean, contemporary cabinetry from our Barcelona Oak in the Casita bath to our inset and full overlay Hanover Maple in the master bath, office bath and Jack and Jill bath. Each of these baths features warm, rich colors like earthy Sage, creamy Divinity and Rustic.
The compact laundry is made functional with plenty of storage in the full overlay Hanover Maple cabinets in Antique Evergreen.
As a sponsor, Wellborn Cabinet, Inc., will also be recreating the kitchen in our exhibit (#S1243) at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. The re-creation will give show attendees a chance for an up close look at this area of the home.
