Starting July 1st, 2011 Dr. Ing. Otto Leible will take office as General Manager of Weinig Concept GmbH & CO. KG. He is the successor of Uwe Motzkau, who has left the company on April 30th, 2011.

The 52 years old, who holds a PhD in mechanical engineering, is very experienced in the project business of the woodworking industry. From 1992 - 2003 he worked in several leading positions for the manufacturer of sawmill technology Linck in Germany and France.

Since 2003 Dr. Leible was the General Manager of Springer France SAS in Obernai (France).

"We are convinced that we have found with Dr. Leible a very qualified General Manager and personality with a lot of experience in engineering projects in the woodworking industry which enables him to lead our Concept Engineering Company", stresses CEO Wolfgang Pöschl. The Engineering company within the Weinig Group is specialized in realizing projects from the first idea and the planning, to help with the financing, set up the turn-key plant and finish with professional commissioning and training.
