SPRINGFIELD, OR â Timber Products Company, the environmental leader in hardwood plywood, announced the hiring of Mike Clausen as its new vice president of sales for hardwood plywood and the international division.
Clausen brings an impressive background in wood products sales, manufacturing and management to his new position. For the past 25 years, he worked for the Penrod Company and most recently served as vice president of sales for the North American wood products division. He is also a past chairman of the Hardwood Plywood Veneer Association (HPVA).
âMikeâs diverse background in the wood products industry gives him a comprehensive understanding of our business and I am looking forward to his contributions,â said David Gonyea, Vice President of Timber Products Company. âMike will continue to position Timber Products for the housing market recovery and will further our environmenal leadership initiatives to our customers."
Clausen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in forestry from Oregon State University.
