Stiles Woodworking Course Catalog 20th Anniversary Edition
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Stiles Machinery Inc. is pleased announce that Stiles Education has published their 20th anniversary course catalog.

In May of 1990, Stiles Education conducted their first class on edgebander operation with a total of six students. From that one course, Stiles Education has grown considerably in both training offerings and number of sessions. The program’s alumni now total over 29,000, and many of these students have taken multiple classes to build their expertise and increase their company’s ability to be competitive. Duane Griffiths, Manager of Educational Services for Stiles, observed “It doesn’t seem like it’s been twenty years that we have been serving the training needs of our industry.”

Along with being proud of the number of students they have educated, Stiles Education continues to be the only training center in the industry to offer accredited classes that exceed the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Stiles Education has come to be known as the education and training center in the woodworking industry, and is pleased provide training in compliance with the skill standards as developed by the Wood Career Alliance (WCA) of North America. The program is also recognized by the Homag Group of Schopfloch, Germany as an authorized training center.

The Stiles Education curriculum also provides training applicable to manufacturers who work with plastics, composites and other advanced materials. “We are very proud to be expanding our program as we continue to create a positive impact on our customer’s most valuable asset: their personnel,” stated Duane Griffiths.

The new catalog provides a complete course description for the classes offered by Stiles Education. Current class dates and seat availability are updated daily on www.stilesmachinery.com/se
