As of April 1, 2013, RP Machine Enterprises, Inc. has acquired the assets of Butler Rubber Products, an industry leader in high temperature silicone covered wheels. Butler Rubber Products, established in 1967, has been manufacturing and recovering silicone covered wheels for over 35 years. Customers using foiling wheels, rollers, as well as other high temperature applications have come to associate quality with the Butler “Blue” product.

Fletcher Machinery, a subsidiary of RP Machine Enterprises, will eventually house the manufacturing process in Lexington, NC. The existing Butler Sales force will be maintained. Butler's Rubber products will still be offered. The same Butler “Blue” blend that Sam Butler established will be available through Butler Rubber sales. Fletcher will continue to supply its present high quality wheels and rollers as well as its full line of rubber products.

Fletcher Machinery, with the recent purchase of Butler Rubber,  will be able to better serve the entire industry and present customer base. With the merger of these two companies, customers can expect even faster delivery with increased capacity. This acquisition allows Butler Rubber to offer the full line of Fletchers’ wheels, rollers, and pads.
