POMONA, CA--Royal Cabinets announced today that it has purchased selected assets of Eurodesign Cabinets of Chino, CA in a transaction completed on Friday, February 26th. Royal Cabinets, based in Pomona, CA, is a leading manufacturer of kitchen cabinetry supplying residential developers and builders throughout southern California. Eurodesign competes in this same segment but also serves customers in northern California, Arizona and Nevada. Royal intends to leverage Eurodesign’s extensive dealer and distributor networks, which extend throughout the Western United States.

“We are excited to acquire the product lines of a company with such high standards for quality. Their product line will fit well with Royal,” said Clay Smith, Royal’s CEO. “We are also attracted to the extensive dealer network they developed in a tough market. Eurodesign has a strong presence in areas where Royal currently does not operate,” Smith added. Royal intends to continue manufacturing its products, together with the Eurodesign product line, in their facilities in Pomona, CA and Tijuana, Mexico thereby realizing substantial efficiencies.
