Retail environment manufacturer TJ Hale buys A.J. Pietsch

MILWAUKEE, WI --Today, two of Milwaukee area’s great millwork traditions joined hands.  TJ  Hale, a 60 plus year retail interior environments manufacturer of Menomonee Falls has purchased A.J. Pietsch, a 90 plus year fine millwork manufacturer of Milwaukee.  Together these two long standing institutions bring over 130 people and 250,000 square feet of space to deliver greater speed, value and capacity to the market.  The combined organizations have grown payrolls over 35 percent and revenues over 50 percent in the last 12 months.

“I’ve been very fortunate over the last 18 years to be a steward of A. J. Pietsch Co., bringing it just shy of its 100th anniversary. This new combined company will catapult A. J. Pietsch into its next century,” said Gregory Reistad, president of A.J. Pietsch.

A.J. Pietsch manufacturing will move to Menomonee Falls.  As a result, the combination leverages state of the art systems, CNC equipment and facilities capacity to deliver greater ability to manage the larger millwork challenges ahead.  TJ Hale will also continue its Milwaukee Manufacturing and Distribution facility on Douglas Avenue.

“We’re very excited to see this combination to its full potential over the next three to five years," said Bob Rosean, CEO, TJ Hale. "We have great confidence in the Wisconsin talent brought to bear and in the potential of increased manufacturing expertise this brings to our clients.  An essential key to our past success and that of our future is the skill of our companies – as we bring new generations into our business, we are excited to see the experience of all these years bestowed unto these next generations.”
