CHARLOTTE, NC – For two days in September, Cefla Finishing will demonstrate some of the most exciting new technology in the industry. During Cefla Live!, September 28-29, 2012 at their international headquarters in Imola, Italy, visitors will be able to see:

UV Roller Application: Establishing a new benchmark in application of UV sealer, this newly-patented process increases efficiency and decreases costs while providing a superior surface. Developed by Cefla’s Sorbini business group, this new technology allows greater quantities of sealer to be applied and cured, even creating an unprecedented, nearly three-dimensional gloss depth when desired. It works on all types of substrates.

Digital Printing: Introducing Pixart by Decodigit. This new process allows designers nearly unlimited flexibility in developing patterns, yet remains cost-effective for short-run, on-demand applications.

Fast, Efficient High-Gloss Finishing: Cefla will demonstrate the pairing of their Smartcoater EVO and UV-R Superfocus to create cost-effective high-gloss finishes. The Smartcoater EVO establishes new levels of speed and quality in the roller application of UV lacquers. The UV-R Superfocus can save up to 30% in energy costs while reducing CO2 emissions by up to 75% over current equipment.
