Las Vegas — Fusion Hardware Group, a leading manufacturer of decorative hardware, launches a line of finely crafted products and accessories for the U.S. luxury home market at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, which kicks off today in Las Vegas. With the launch, the company extends its reach and distribution to the larger building and remodeling market. Fusion Hardware Group is an operating unit of Schlage, a business of Ingersoll Rand, a world leader creating and sustaining safe, comfortable and efficient environments.
At the show Fusion is providing demonstrations of its architecturally specified, handcrafted decorative locks that were previously available only in Europe. The company is also highlighting a number of new interior and exterior door handlesets which include matching cabinet hardware. And, the company has expanded a line of stainless steel products that is also on full display. The full suite of Fusion products can be viewed at www.fusionhardware.com, along with a dealer locator and a downloadable product catalog.
“Fusion has built its reputation on superior design and artistic craftsmanship,” said Dave Perozzi, product manager at Fusion. “Our products provide a distinctive style and quality to well-appropriated homes. We are excited to extend the Fusion product line to custom home builders and to the home remodeling market.”
Handcrafted locks
Bringing a popular European design to the U.S., Fusion introduces the Bricard Collection of fine handcrafted locks. The locks are offered in styles that evoke designs from the Renaissance period and the reign of King Louis XIV and XV. Offered through a custom-specified program, the locks allow the designer, architect or homeowner to create the perfect appointment to a home or personal space.
New handleset designs
Fusion also introduces several new handleset designs that include the addition of mortise functionality, adding both form and function to exquisite design. Mortise versions will be incorporated within all Fusion handlesets throughout the balance of the year. In addition to new entry sets and mortise functionality, Fusion continues to expand the portfolio with additional hardware enhancements to complete a perfect environment.
Three-point locking trim
Three-point locking trim is soon to be available in the classic River Rock Sandcast Bronze Collection in both Dark and Medium Bronze and later followed with coordinated brass in the unique array of Fusion finishes. The trim will be available in two sizes and functionally designed to be compatible with the majority of current door suppliers.
Cabinet hardware
Popular lifestyle collections of Fusion Cabinet hardware are now back in the Fusion Hardware product line. These decorative cabinet hardware collections will coordinate with other door hardware families, such as Sonoma, St. Charles, Bordeaux and others, to complete a design look.
Expanded stainless steel collection
The Fusion stainless steel collection expands with the addition of square knobs and roses. A combination of both cast and tubular stainless steel levers and knobs provides a comprehensive assortment for design and specification.
Superior security: Schlage SecureKey Technology
Also on display in the Fusion booth is the Schlage SecureKey Technology door system, which features a blue reset key that sets it apart from other re-keyable systems. SecureKey Technology allows the user to securely put the cylinder into re-keying mode and quickly reset the cylinder to match a new or existing Schlage or Fusion key using the new blue reset key.
Providing superior security, SecureKey Technology is 10 times more secure because it features 10 times the number of possible key cut combinations. The technology works with a blue reset key and brass user keys. The blue reset key is used to re-key the locks when needed, and the brass user keys are used every day to lock and unlock the door.
