INGLEWOOD, CA – J. Robert Scott, a leading luxury home furnishings manufacturer for four decades, has completed a 78-month lease extension for a 76,675 square foot industrial facility in Inglewood, CA, that serves as its corporate headquarters, announces The Klabin Co./CORFAC Intl.
Klabin firm officials report that for the past 17 years J. Robert Scott has been occupying the concrete tilt-up building located at 500 N. Oak St. within the Airport Business Park.
F. Ronald Rader, SIOR, in the Los Angeles office of Klabin/CORFAC represented Roxbury Property Management, the landlord. Doug Marshall, also in Klabin/CORFAC’s Los Angeles office, represented the tenant. Lease consideration was $4.3 million.
Founded in 1972 in Los Angeles by “Hall of Fame” designer Sally Sirkin Lewis, J. Robert Scott was born out of Lewis’ desire to “Provide her clients with contemporary, well made furnishings that met her uncompromising standards of quality and beauty. Her understated signature style has becomes known as “California Design”, according to the company’s web site.
J. Robert Scott manufactures all its products in the Inglewood, CA facility and maintains company owned showrooms in Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Dallas, and London, plus representation in 21 cities in 14 countries.
