McConnellsville, N.Y. – Harden Furniture will continue the momentum started in April with an exclusive Natural-Edge Custom Table Program for Cabinetmakers Cherry which features natural edge tops in both solid cherry and walnut along with four base options. The company is offering a “live edge” top that preserves more of the natural beauty of the tree by keeping the natural layer that lies just under the bark as the edge detail, a feature that can only be accomplished when utilizing solid wood. Dining tables can be custom ordered by the inch and can even be specified to leave the bark on the natural edge.
The 1619 Dining Table is shown in a custom size 113” long x 49”wide, featured in Natural Walnut to experience the incredible grain pattern, unique sapwood edging characteristics and contrasting bow-tie details. To achieve premium board selection, each individual top is personally hand selected by the CEO and VP of Operations to ensure the best possible result.
To complete the introductions, Harden has added new pieces to the popular NuClassic Collection, which include the #528 Demi Lune Buffet and the #579 Cocktail Table. Both are clean lined and finely detailed specifically to compliment the current and fresh designs that have proven to be successful for the company.
Harden has long been recognized as the best finishers in the industry and to live up to that reputation they will introduce a total of eleven new cutting edge finishes and decorative paints. Acorn finish is a “true brown” cherry finish that is available as an aged finish as well. Unique multi-layer paint applications include Keltic, Tortoise, Tuscan Garnet, and Barnboard. Variations of these new paint techniques and new product introductions will be on display at the Harden Showroom during the 2012 High Point Market, October 13-18.
Founded in 1844, Harden is the furniture industry’s largest privately held manufacturer of high-quality solid hardwood furniture and is in its fifth generation of continuous family ownership and management.
