HOCHST, AUSTRIA --  Ronald Weber has been appointed the new chairman of the Management Board at GRASS GmbH as of Nov. 15, 2011. He will also provisionally take over responsibility for marketing and sales from Frank Nessler, a director at GRASS GmbH, who will leave the company of his own volition on Nov. 14, 2011.

The change is taking place with the agreement of the management and the supervisory board, who have accepted with regret but respect the decision. Work on existing customer relationships and ongoing projects will be seamlessly continued by all those involved.

“On behalf of my colleagues on the supervisory board at GRASS GmbH and the Würth Group’s management, I would like to thank Frank Nessler for his consistently excellent and constructive cooperation, as well as his above-average commitment over the last few years, which has made a significant contribution to the success of our company. We are very pleased that Mr Nessler will continue to be available to the Würth Group as a consultant. We wish him all the very best for his professional and personal future,” said Robert Friedmann, chairman of the Supervisory Board at GRASS GmbH.

Ronald Weber has been working in various divisions of the Würth Group for 17 years. As the new Chairman of the Management Board at GRASS GmbH, he can count on the support of longstanding Directors Thomas Müller, who is responsible for the Production department, and Christoph Walter, who is in charge of Finances. “I’m looking forward to taking over the management and making my contribution to the company’s ongoing success in Marketing and Sales,” said Weber.
