Boston, MA – Robert “Bob” Lord and Donna Martinetti, owners of WoodLord Restorations in New Jersey, Rockland and Westchester, were recently honored with three levels of awards during the ServiceMaster Clean, AmeriSpec and Furniture Medic International Convention held here at the Hynes Convention Center. Bob and Donna received the Achiever Award, the Furniture Medic Expert Award, and Marion E. Wade Master Award of Honor for their outstanding 2009 business performance and contributions.
Recipients of the Achiever Award must meet a variety of criteria in order to be nominated, including a minimum revenue amount, annual growth of at least 10 percent. From these recipients, the top franchises are selected for the Expert Award. Bob and Donna were nominated for their outstanding leadership and commitment with customers, employees, fellow franchisees and the community.
The Marion E. Wade Master Award of Honor is only given to the top six franchise owners annually out of 4,500 businesses worldwide. The Marion E. Wade Founder’s award, which is the largest and most prestigious given to a franchise owner, is based on financial success, growth, leadership and for exemplifying the ServiceMaster Commitment.
Bob and Donna have owned their Furniture Medic franchise for 15 years, starting in Atlanta, Georgia. Six of those years their technical operations were housed in their garage while their master bedroom served as the office. Now they have a 1,200 square foot shop with a 600 square foot office. Bob and Donna are always willing to lend a helping hand, provide guidance and mentor those in need without expecting anything in return. They always go above and beyond supporting their customers.
“Bob and Donna’s energy and dedication are qualities that contribute to the overall success of our company and provide peace of mind to homeowners in their service areas,” said Brent Armstrong, Vice President of Furniture Medic headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. “We are proud to honor them with the highest achievement level in our company, the Marion E. Wade Master Award of Honor.”
