Tampa -- EMI today announced the hiring of L. Keith Grant as General Manager of the new facility in Arlington, Texas. This location is part of EMI’s expansion plan to the Midwest and Southwest.

Keith was the former President of MEI, (Merchandising Equipment, Inc, Atlanta) best known for his fixture and merchandising solutions for the build and rollout work of large retailers and designer shops, such as Saks, Inc., Macy’s, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Clinique.

“Keith is a pioneer in the industry. His 30 plus years of experience incorporates project management, engineering, sales and operational management skills. That blend of experience lends itself to great leadership and a solid knowledge base of the strengths EMI brings to the table for retailers. We look to his breadth of relationships and his hard work ethic to help EMI continue the move west," said Alan Harvill, Chief Executive Officer of EMI Industries.

“Keith is a welcome addition to EMI’s management team,” added Eric Johnson, VP, Sales and Marketing. “Given his extensive expertise in the retail fixture market, he will add depth and dimension to the solutions we provide to our expanding customer base.”

"Having been in the store fixture industry for 30 years, I have seen many industry changes and many companies come and go. EMI has proven to me that the attention to customer service along with top notch personnel and facilities will keep us at the top of this industry for many years to come.” Grant noted.
