VISTA, Calif., Dec. 16, 2010 -- EcoBlu Products, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ECOB) announced today that the company has successfully completed indoor air quality testing protocols screening for Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC's), Formaldehyde, and total Aldehydes emissions at Air Quality Sciences, Inc. All testing protocols where in accordance with ASTM D5116 and compared to standards developed by GREENGUARD Environmental Institute. Testing results for the application of EcoBlu Products' WoodSurfaceFilm™ treatment on Douglas Fir wood indicated below quantifiable levels for Formaldehyde, TVOC's measured a magnitude of 10 times lower than the established limits and total Aldehydes measured approx 75% below limits established by GREENGUARD for Children and Schools classifications.
Demonstrating that EcoBlu Products' proprietary wood treatment is safe to indoor air quality is just another step in proving our green technology. EcoBlu Products treatment is predicted to likely meet GREENGUARD Environmental Institute's active product screening program. The company is considering enrolling in this active quality assurance program, enhancing the confidence of our customers. "Another milestone in the product development has been obtained. Off gassing of products in our home is a major issue for keeping our indoor air quality safe. I am extremely pleased to be able to prove that our new proprietary formulation adds practically zero VOC's over standard wood," said Steve Conboy, President and CEO of EcoBlu Products. "GREENGUARD seems to be one of the only established Green Certification bodies that have an active testing program to guarantee a product's performance. This kind of program will bring credibility to our products and other products in our industry," added Conboy.
