TORONTO, ON -- DIRTT Environmental Solutions, an exhibitor at Greenbuild 2011, Oct. 4-7 in Toronto, ON, will demonstrate its groundbreaking design reconfiguration software tool along with examples of exciting design possibilities available with DIRTT modular walls.

Visitors to DIRTT, the manufacturer of agile architectural solutions, will experience ICEcycle by DIRTT subsidiary Ice Edge Business Solutions (the creator of intelligent ICE 3D design and specification software). ICEcycle captures elements from an existing modular layout and inventories, sorts, locates and defines each part available for reuse, all in real time. Before ICEcycle, designers created reconfigurations without knowing the parts left over until afterward. It’s the only reconfig tool to maximize product reuse and manage the product’s lifecycle. ICEcycle is integrated as a function within ICE, the patented Java-based configuration software that uses 2D and 3D graphic communication to envision, design, specify, price, manufacture and deliver any product open to modification. 

DIRTT will also show its ‘Imbedded’ murphy beds, the new Peek-A-Boo Wall, and the seamless integration of technology, power, data and more into DIRTT Walls. The new offering of DIRTT Walls with DuPont Corian solid surfaces will be shown in a healthcare setting. First introduced in June, DIRTT with Corian offers a non-porous, completely customizable, easy-to-clean and versatile surface ideal for the healthcare industry. Not to be missed is DIRTT’s modular living wall system, Breathe. Sustainable Industries named Breathe a 2011 Top Green Building Product.
