Paulin Tardif, who has been the company's Chairman of the Board and President and CEO will continue to chair the Board of Bestar Inc..
Mr. Daniel Mercier brings over 20 years of senior level management experience in industrial and aerospace companies in the field of operations, global supply chain management and start-up of high-tech companies. In the last several years he successfully integrated and managed several acquisitions, JIT manufacturing system and new supplier chain procedures.
"Our results are still negatively affected by the weakness of the sales, along with the increased strength of the Canadian dollar. Actions must be taken rapidly to improve profitability. The experience of Mr. Mercier will be helpful for Bestar. Acting as an external advisor for the past two months, he is already familiar with the entire operation. The management team of Bestar will assist him in his functions" declared Mr. Paulin Tardif.
