WMCO plans Aug. 29 tour of Milestone Millwork’s ‘paperless’ operation

The Aug 29 tour will include visits to Milestone's MDF door plant, main millwork facility, and showroom.

HANOVER, Ontario — The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario is organizing a Plant Tour Focus Group event Aug. 29 at Milestone Millwork in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Milestone Millwork opened its doors in 2005. The company custom manufactures residential, commercial, and architectural millwork.

The tour will include visits to a trio of facilities:

  • Milestone’s 5,000-square-foot MDF door plant
  • Milestone Millwork’s 12,000-square-foot main plant featuring advanced production equipment and processes
  • Milestone Millwork’s 2,700-square-foot showroom (Click here to take a virtual 3D showroom tour.)

Additional highlights of the event include:

Learn about Milestone’s efforts to go paperless and view the company’s homemade Kanban Board.
Share and gain insights on improving value stream mapping.
Get a sneak peek into Milestone’s plans for a new 20,000-square-foot facility and discuss streamlining operations.

The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.
