HALIFAX -- The Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association (CKCA) will hold its next regional event on September 23-24 at the Hotel Halifax. The two-day event features four plant tours including Genuine Kitchens, Cabinetworks Ltd., Lake City Works, and Nova Wood Products.
Andrew Tremblay, Market Development Manager, for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) will be the featured opening keynote with his presentation titled, "Creating Opportunities for Canadian Manufacturers." He will discuss how new standards are creating new opportunities. According to Tremblay, "consumers are demanding more and the industry is 100% dependent on a sustainable future."
Also included in the event is a tour of Alexander Keith’s Brewery in the heritage complex that is also home to the institute where beer school sessions are for both the beer connoisseur and the interested newcomer.
Registration is $405 for CKCA members and $575 for non-members. Registration includes meals, bus transportation to/from events and all registration materials. You will be provided with headsets for the plant tours that must be returned at the end of each day. Register.
