CKCA opens registration for 2024 National Forum

The CKCA's 2024 National Forum will feature a tour of Leisure Travel Vans plus three Winnipeg-area woodworking operations.

NAPEAN, Ontario – Registration is open for the Canadian Kitchen Cabinet Association’s 2024 National Forum. The annual event is scheduled to take place Oct. 2-4 in the greater Winnipeg, Manitoba, area.

Tours of four local wood products facilities highlight the three-day event, as well as plentiful networking opportunities. Plant tours include:

Rosehill Woodcrafters is a manufacturer of custom cabinets and other wood products based in MacGregor, Manitoba. The company was founded in 1993 as a one-man shop by Harvey Boehlig. Since then, Rosehill has grown to more than 20 employees. The company services customers in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Western Ontario.

E&R Furnishings & Millwork of Newton, Manitoba, specializes in the manufacture of custom cabinets and vanities with Flo Form or granite countertops. The company’s website says its manufacturing facility is “equipped with modern CNC machinery and professional woodworkers.” The company also operates a showroom in Newton.

CKCA National Forum plant tours

Leisure Travel Vans of Winkler, Manitoba, is a manufacturer of luxury, compact Class C motorhomes. In 2008, Triple E acquired Leisure Travel Vans, giving Triple E a Class B and C lineup with an established presence in the United States. All products are constructed on a motorized chassis, streamlining production.

Décor Cabinets of Morden, Manitoba, was established in 1977. The company now operates two production facilities and a showroom. The company’s dealer network operates throughout Canada and the U.S.

In addition to those tours of woodworking operations, attendees will have the opportunity to visit 
Friesens Corp. of Altona, Manitoba. Employee-owned Friesens is Canada's largest printer of hardcover books, including yearbooks.

The Delta Hotel Winnipeg is the headquarters lodging and meeting venue for the 2024 National Forum. The event will kick off with a new Welcome Reception on Wednesday, Oct. 2 and also include a President’s Dinner and a new Manufacturers & Supplier Roundtable facilitated by Stan Pauls, president of Decor Cabinets.
