Cabinetry firms Westridge and Classic Kitchens merge

RED DEER,  AB --  Classic Kitchens & Cabinets has merged with Westridge Cabinets.  Founded in 1985 Classic Kitchens & Cabinets, is a leader in supplying cabinets for both new homes and renovation projects. Classic has longstanding relationships with many single and multi-family residential builders in both Calgary and Edmonton.

Westridge Cabinets was founded in 1983 and grown from a distribution center in Red Deer, Alberta to the largest fully-integrated cabinet manufacturer in Alberta. With more than 30 years of experience and recent investments in its infrastructure, Westridge said it is able to service customers in Alberta, Western Canada, and the United States.

The new, combined company will be the largest cabinet manufacturer in the Province of Alberta with retail locations in Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton. All manufacturing for the combined company will be centralized in its Red Deer facility which boasts more than 125,000 sq ft of automated manufacturing space, with nearly 200 associates. The executives at the Westridge and Classic have more than 100 years of combined cabinet industry experience and intend to share their best practices to ensure an exceptional experience for our clients.

Effective immediately, Nadeem Esmail of Classic Kitchens will assume the role of President of Retail Operations, and Sameer Kanji will be our newly appointed Vice President of Retail Operations
Anthony Zellars, the Chief Operating Officer of Westridge, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing for Classic and Westridge. Westridge has invested millions to build a state of the art, efficient manufacturing operation in Red Deer and the two companies will combine operations at this location in the very near future.
