LEESBURG, VA -- Shipments of thermally fused melamine (TFM) for July were 103 MMSF, unchanged from the same month one year ago, according to the Composite Panel Association.

Compared to last month, shipments dropped 12.6% from 116 MMSF. Year-to-date TFM shipments through July are 761 MMSF, down 1.3% from 771 MMSF in 2010. U.S. capacity utilization rates have improved 3.3% from July 2010, and Canadian utilization rates were down 3.9% from a year ago.
