CONSHOHOCKEN, PA -- IKEA, the world's largest furniture retailer, announces the launch of a new community photo-sharing website called “Share Space” (www.theshare-space.com).

IKEA is urging its customers to post photos of their living spaces featuring IKEA furnishings on Share Space. The site also features a blox, "Design by IKEA," in which IKEA designers share tips, trends and design ideas.

“Design inspiration can come from anywhere, and we wanted to facilitate and encourage an ongoing dialog on design, with the ultimate goal of helping consumers make the most of their own personal space,” said Leontyne Green, marketing manager of IKEA U.S.
