ARLINGTON, VA -- Hurricane Irene claimed a historic 220-year-old oak tree by the gravesite of President John Kennedy at Arlington National Cemetery.
In addition to downing the "Arlington Oak," Hurricane Irene uprooted a white oak near the memorial for victims of Pan Am Flight 103, which was destroyed in flight oer Scotland by a terrorist bomb in 1988.
