i have had an idea today for a niche furniture business - modular wood pieces for creative furniture building at home i imagine a customer getting a kit with wooden pieces (legs/planks/...) , equiped with japanese style joints (without screws/bolts), and a book of designs that guides the user to create any kind of furniture he needs, to the size he needs it with the same pieces you could build a bed base or a chair, a table or a closet, and many more. the user could even be creative and build something we didnt think of. like a furniture leggo set for adults, but with wood. what do you think about my idea? what woodworking tips would you have for me? what kind of joints? what kind of wood should i use? i attached an image of a joint, any other joints like this one would be better? more versitlie? thank you!
