We hand craft log slice light Switch Cover Plates. Looking to not only speed up the process but to get less tear outs and damage. I'm checking into smaller laser cutters and CNC. Does anyone have any advice on this? Laser or CNC? Any brands/models you may have advice for? The log slices a 1/4-inch thick. As you already know the thin end grain is very vulnerable to tear outs. That's the main reason I'm leaning more towards laser than CNC router. Any advice would be gGreatly appreciated! Thank you in advance, Rene.
