REHAU’s Visions Edgeband Brings New Ideas to Furniture Design

LEESBURG, Va. – Combining timeless colors and innovative design capabilities, REHAU’s Visions edgeband line offers the ability to incorporate unique translucent and glass-effect elements into any kitchen or furniture design project.

Visions edgeband creates a unique, eye-catching effect by mimicking the translucence of materials such as glass, while also highlighting the board portion of a countertop or furniture piece. With this edgeband solution, designers can achieve a broad scope of impressive furniture looks that also provide lasting quality.

Visions edgeband offers designers the combined benefit of a true glass look with the robust performance properties of polymer materials. The edgeband’s three-dimensional depth, when paired with a high-gloss board finish, facilitates the glass-look finish. In addition, the complementary V-Edge can give the illusion of a real glass plate mounted on metal. Its top edge is a typical glass color, with a metallic-look bottom.

Visions edgeband is available through the REHAU Express Collection off-the-shelf program in four colors and two sizes (23 x 2 mm and 45 x 2 mm). The complementary V-Edge is also offered in the Express Collection in four colors in a 23 x 1.5 mm size.
