ATLANTA -- IMA Schelling Group USA, a provider of sales and support of IMA and Schelling products for the woodworking industry, will introduce new machines at the International Woodworking Fair 2018 in Atlanta, August 22-25. Schelling’s booth #5013 theme this year is “The Space Where Innovation Meets Automation, a nod to their integration of a CR Onsrud router with a Schelling fh5 panel saw and Schelling "vs" Area Storage Retrieval System all connected via Eurosofts’ SquareOne MES software.

Also new at IWF will be an integration of edgebander and return conveyor controlled automatically via barcode through SquareOne software. The IMA Novimat Compact R3
edgebander handles all aspects of edge processing. Coiled materials can be applied with PUR glue and the R3’s Imalux laser. Included are additional units for smoothing operations. The Barbaric RTS 02 return conveyor automatically back-turns 90° or 180° and requires only one operator to manually insert panels, eliminating a second operator.

Other machines on display at IWF 2018 include: IMA Novimat Compact L12 edgebanding machine handles a wide range of edge processing, Schelling fh6 wood panel saw with Barbaric LCV linear feeding system. The feeding system has been developed specifically for panel saws, and is modularly constructed to enable any size construction.

Also to be shown are the BIMA Cx40 / E / R new ergonomic CNC-processing center range with integrated edgebanding; Priess & Horstmann BAT-SAX-CNC, a drilling and routing machine for six sided panels, Schelling “vs” area storage system and fh5 automatic panel saw, a cut-to-size saw for both demanding craftsmen and for those just starting industrial production.
