CMA plans shop tours, events, seminars at IWF

ATLANTA -- The Cabinet Makers Association has announced they will host a variety of activities during the upcoming IWF trade show in Atlanta, Georgia. Current members and prospective members are invited join the CMA for the events they have planned before and during the show.

On Tuesday August 21, the day before the show begins, the CMA is conducting shop tours of local members’ facilities. This event begins with a breakfast at the Embassy Suites (Centennial Olympic Park) and continues throughout the entire day.

On Wednesday, August 22, the CMA is holding their popular “What’s Your Problem” roundtable discussion. Participants will gather in small groups to share their struggles and learn from other’s successes. This is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm in room B316 of the Convention Center.

On Thursday, August 23, the CMA will announce the winners of their annual awards contest, the Wood Diamond Awards. This will be held at 1 p.m. in the CMA booth (#26, near registration at the entrance to building C). The awards recognize CMA members and their outstanding projects.

Thursday evening is the association’s annual membership appreciation banquet, which will be held at the SubZero showroom in Buckhead, starting at 6 p.m. Members can gather at the CMA booth after the show closes and travel together to the venue. Throughout the show, the CMA is offering 11 seminars as part of the IWF educational track.
