HICKORY, NC —During IWF 2016, which took place Aug. 24-27 in Atlanta, Georgia, Benz Inc., a manufacturer of aggregate tooling for wood and composites, sponsored a presentation on "Aggregate Tooling - A New Angle on CNC Machining." Paul Roza, Benz's national sales manager of Wood, Plastics and Composites, was a featured speaker during the session that took place Friday, Aug. 26.

“It was quite an honor to be asked to speak at this year’s IWF show,” Roza said. “That international stage gave Benz the opportunity to educate the industry about how diverse aggregate tooling can expand the capability of any CNC router.”

The presentation, hosted by Roza and Scott Burton, sales manager from Royce/Ayr, a distributor of Benz products, covered a brief history of aggregate tooling, how it is utilized in industrial applications, and how innovations and new products can help existing CNC users make their equipment more versatile by adding fourth and fifth axis capabilities.

Benz is a member of the Zimmer Group, which produces innovative tooling for the wood, plastics, composites and metalworking industries. The company manufactures aggregates in Germany and offers sales and support for North America through its subsidiary, Benz Inc., from its Hickory, North Carolina, headquarters.
