And here's all the installation procedures.

I’ve been planning to design a new working desk for quiet a while, and actually finished the sketch model in SketchUp. But lacking the real world experience, I need some suggestions from the woodworking expert. Here are some goals that I consider: 1. The look & shape: I want it to be quite simple. Edges were smoothed out so it doesn’t look too sharp (Maybe more comfortable to use too). 2. It has to be a three-side corner desk because I want it to be multi-purpose. I will keep all my electronic devices at both the center and the left side, while using the right side as the workbench & writing top. 3. It’s modular, so I can tear it down and move it when needed. Planning to use Lockdowel eClips for connections. (I also don’t have enough room space right now, so the left side now has to be a bit shorter than the right, but I will make them the same once I move to a new house.

Also I didn’t draw the 3D model for the connectors, but here’s how they work: http://lockdowel.com/online-catalog/#fb0=13) 4. Sturdy. It’s definitely not going to wobble for sure, and I will probably have to load some really heavy equipment (maybe an old TV or a PC case) later on. So my goal was to carry approximately 440 pounds (200 kg) at maximum (but if possible, I’d like it to be more sturdier). 5. Storage. I want to store both devices and extra tools underneath the desktop, at the same time giving my legs enough area, so I don’t feel like cramping inside a tiny space.

I’ve already measured the space which fits me. Slide my chair under the center of the desk when I’m done. I recorded the installation procedures inside a picture. (Also I haven’t design my shelves and drawers yet (actually I just got started), as I want to finish the most important parts first.)

So my question is: How sturdy is it? I have no idea how to calculate the maximum strength of the frame, nor having extra resource and time to build a prototype. So I have to draw the sketch with my common sense, and my real dad who has some experience (he has no idea how to calculate either, but working on these things before). If there’s any flaw inside this sketch, I’m really glad to hear it, and if you guys need extra information, I’ll provide as quickly as I can.
