ATLANTA – The Home Depot home improvement retailer named Cree LED light bulb as its top winner in among 10 2013 Innovation Awards recipients. Behr Deck Over solid color wood coating, Milwaukee Tools Bi-Metal Sawzall blades, and Cordelia Commercial LED fixtures were also among its top 10 winners.

Craig Menear, executive VP, Merchandising for The Home Depot announced the winners, with Cree, Inc. topping the list for its LED light bulb series.

The Cree bulbs look and shine as brightly as comparable incandescent while saving 84% of the energy and lasting 25 times longer than traditional bulbs. The Cree LED bulbs are backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
