Award-Winning Closet DesignClosets Top Shelf Design Awards are given every year to honor the best in home organization design. The 8th annual contest is now accepting submissions at woodworkingnetwork.com/topshelf. Enter by January 31. Submission fee is $45.

Winners will be featured in Closets magazine and also at a special awards ceremony, which will be held during the 2014 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo at the Garden State Convention Center in Somerset, NJ, April 9-11.

Past 2013 Top Shelf Design Award winners were named in March at the debut of the Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, held in Edison, NJ.

The overall Top Shelf Design award went to DeVoe Martin of Affordable Closets Plus, Bangor, PA, for “Hidden Treasure Trove Dressing Room.”

The People’s Choice award went to Harold Locklear, Locklear Cabinet & Woodwork Inc., Rowland, NC, for “Mobile Showroom.”

Each category winner received a Top Shelf Design Award trophy commemorating their winning entry and Honorable Mention winners in each category received a certificate. All finalists also were featured in the Closets April 2013 print issue.
