Westlund Distributing has expanded the availability of real wood veneer edgebanding on it's site, The selections are available with the option to pre-finish or pre-glue the banding and are available in a variety of widths and thicknesses from .5in. to five inches and from .018mm to 3mm.

NewStar Adhesive has introduced its Low VOC Econobond adhesive which offers temporary bonding of large panels and thermal insulation. Designed for the RV, manufactured housing, and modular building markets, it has less than 250 VOC grams per liter and has the ability to be re-positioned. Available in self-contained canisters large and small, it can be applied in the production units as they are conveyed down the line.

Decorative composite panels with PET foil laminate

Roseburg has introduced its PanelArtz Elite Surfaces product line to the North American market. The line offers decorative composite panels with PET foil laminate in a high gloss or a super matte finish with scratch- and fade-resistance for interior applications. The design options include 25 High Gloss and Super Matte finishes in solid colors, wood grains, and 3D designs. Each design has a matching edge band available in two sizes.

Laminate panels made from recycled plastic

3B SpA's Respet panels are made by either lamination or thermoforming from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Metallic impurities, caps, and labels are removed before crushing the plastic bottles into flakes, which are then extruded to create sheets. Respet panels are available in all color variations, in gloss and matte finishes, and are customizable with wood prints and abstract patterns.

Nature-inspired décor designs

Schattdecor says its Micro, Nero Marquina, and Acadia Maple decor designs accentuate the feeling of comfort with nature-inspired tones. The company says that overall restrained and neutral tones are also making room for variations of terracotta, yellow, orange, burgundy, blue, and green, which can be seen in products displaying refined craftsmanship with natural and synthetic fibers.

Entry-level thermofoil press

Vac-U-Clamp's FT 900 is an entry level thermofoil press. It comes standard with an eight inch touch screen embeded with an "on-screen" video tutorial. It also features a 30 cfm vacuum pump, contoured quartz heaters for complete film heating, and optional non-stick platens for use with pre-glued film.
