HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. - ROL USA, a subsidiary of the Swedish furniture firm, ROL Ergo, will build a 140,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Holland Charter Township, Michigan, investing $19.8 million and creating approximately 51 new jobs within the first two years of construction.

ROL, a global supplier of custom-made electric sit-stand table stands, will laser cut, weld, form, powder coat and machine metal as well as assemble and package office furniture products at the new facility.

“The leadership team of ROL USA is excited to expand our operation in the Holland area where we can help to connect technology with people, and grow our commitment to the West Michigan community,” said Anthony Panozzo, chief operating officer of ROL USA, Inc, in a statement from Lakeshore Advantage, a non-profit organization that worked side-by-side with the company to help it identify business locations and incentive opportunities necessary for the expansion.

ROL chose Michigan over competing sites in southern states, and the project was awarded a $300,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.
