FOREST, Md. – The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), the national trade association for those who make machinery, cutting tools and supplies for the woodworking industry, has teamed up with Woodworking Network as founding sponsors of the 2016 Wood Industry 40 under 40 superstars.

This program will recognize the next generation of leaders who will define the North American wood products manufacturing industry of tomorrow.

WMMA Board Member Todd R. Herzog has been named among the 2016 Wood Industry 40 under 40 superstars. Herzog chairs the Public Policy Committee of the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America, which oversees the Association’s legislative counsel in representing the Association's position on legislative and regulatory matters affecting the wood industry, as well as keeping members informed of developments that will impact their businesses.

Herzog also has a day job: Vice President/Director of Sales of custom high-speed CNC router manufacturer Accu-Router. Markets include aerospace, boating, and upholstered furniture. Herzog is also responsible for marketing strategy, graphic design and web properties for the firm, whose factory is in Warren County, Tennessee.

This year's Wood Industry 40 Under 40 Superstars will be honored at a reception, sponsored by WMMA, on Thursday, August 25th from 5-7pm during the 2016 International Woodworking Fair.
