LANCASTER -- Colonial Saw's Lamello P-System is based on a groove with an undercut, into which connectors with various functions can be inserted, ensuring form-locking anchorage. During the process, the cutter moves downwards to the maximum depth and moves sideways in order to create the profile groove.

There are two options for creating the P-System groove:

 

1. The Zeta P2, a Lamello power tool quick and easy to handle, with a range of applications.

Advantages of the Zeta P2: Any angle can be cut very quickly, as no set-up time, software or programming is required. The cutting depth can be adjusted in next to no time. The machine is therefore ideal for cutting individual parts, smaller production runs, prototypes or working on site.

 

2. CNC technology, ideal for high-volume production. Advantages with the CNC machine. From CAD to the CAM system, direct to the CNC machine – this makes the process faster, reduces the planning time and lowers the risk of errors for repeat orders. The speed when processing larger production runs on the CNC machine makes the P-System an extremely quick, efficient system, from processing through to assembly.

Wood Pro Expo is the regional show series that brings education, equipment, and supplies close to cabinetmakers and custom woodworking businesses around the country. It will include a strong educational program on best practices for shop production, and as well as an expo oriented to equipment and supplies geared to the small and medium size shops, including CNC basics, employee recruitment, finishing, lean manufacturing, business management, software, and shop safety.

 

Launched in 2014 in Baltimore, Wood Pro Expo was first held in Lancaster in October, 2017.  It returns to Lancaster October 18-19, 2018 and Charlotte March 16-18, 2019.
