CHARLOTTE —  Table saw safety specialist SawStop has announced a free upgrade offer on its new Professional Cabinet Saws. The company will be exhibiting its products at Booth #818 at the co-located Wood Pro Expo Charlotte/Cabinets & Closets Expo. The event, including a full-day conference, takes place March 6-8 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.

Between March 1 and April 30, U.S. and Canadian customers who purchases a new Professional Cabinet Saw will receive one of two available accessories, the Overarm Dust Collection or the Integrated Mobile Base, each worth $249 USD ($365 CAD), SawStop says.

SawStop’s saws are designed to minimize saw-related injuries and the costs associated with them by stopping the spinning blade upon contact with skin. “We all know there are things we should do to be safe, but we don't always do them. If by offering this upgrade SawStop has helped someone make the decision today to protect themselves, we will count the promotion a success,” said CEO Matt Howard.
